Academic Dishonesty - Projects

Psychology is an empirical discipline, and much of Psychology is applied in real world settings. Therefore, it is common to perform projects in psychology classes.

Instructors assign group, individual, and blended projects.A blended project is one in which some of the work is done as a group and some it done as an individual. How do you know what part of a blended project must be individual work? Ask your instructor.

Many projects are complex and require sharing strategies, source materials, and solutions with other students. Sometimes this is permissable, and sometimes it is not. Generally, projects that require procedural learning - learning how to do something - must be performed mainly on your own (or within just your group). How do you know how much can be shared? Ask your instructor.

Responsibility for proving that the project was conducted by the student rests with the student
