Humanities Program

Pre-law Society

The Pre-law Society is committed to promoting student success and preparing students for achievement in a global workforce by expanding students' legal knowledge directly related to their major or chosen career path.

Students will learn from and network with other students, alumni, legal professionals, and other guest speakers of interest. Students will also engage in activities to develp law skills and have the opportunity to participate in career shadowing and internship opportunities.

The Pre-Law Society will encourage students to pursue higher-education by informing them of options such as master's and juris doctor degrees in fields of interest, meet-and-greets with current law school students, and law school visits.

The Pre-Law Society will help prepare students for these higher-education opportunities through tutoring in Logic, Business Law, and other law related electives; LSAT prep such as practice tests and logic games; and an introduction to Law Schools and their admissions process.

Network with students that have gone on to Law Schools at Harvard, University of Virginia, William and Mary, and more!

Contact the faculty advisor, Sara Torabi at storabi@fit.edu for more information.
