Bachelor of Science in Communication Degree Requirements
One of Florida Tech's strongest assets is its ability to fine-tune a curriculum to ensure that our undergraduates are up-to-date on technological developments. In communication, for example, we offer specialized courses such as Advanced Business Communication and Publishing on the Internet. Our program includes Communication core courses and a specialization in either Business and Marketing Communication or Scientific and Technical Communication.
Candidates for a Bachelor of Science in Communication require a total of 120 hours for graduation. Upon reaching their junior year, candidates must choose an area of specialization (either Business & Marketing Communication or Scientific & Technical Communication) and include 21 semester hours of specialized coursework. Seniors having over a 3.25 GPA may apply for a 6 semester-hour communication internship that reflects their area of concentration.
