Student Senate

StudentsThe School of Psychology's Clinical Psychology Student Senate is a student organization that serves as the official representative body of the students of the School of Psychology's Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) Graduate Program. The main purpose to Student Senate is to provide a forum for discussion of issues (internal and external) of concern to graduate students, to represent graduate student interests before the FIT faculty and administration, and to make recommendations concerning student welfare to those persons responsible for the administration of University and Clinical Psychology Program policies. In addition, Student Senate organizes, promotes, and conducts activities beneficial to graduate student life, disseminates information of interest to students in the School of Psychology, and helps facilitate the mentoring of incoming Clinical Psychology students. The Student Senate also works closely with the clinical faculty, Program Chair, and Director of Clinical Training in directing and coordinating student activities and providing support and coordinating clinical activities fitting to the student's expressed training needs.
