Description of Assessment Services and Fees
Florida Tech Behavioral Services offers several different assessment services encompassing both skill assessment and problem behavior assessment. A brief description of each service follows along with a listing of fees. For each service, the assessment can be administered by the Florida Tech ABA faculty, all of whom are Board Certified Behavior Analysts, or one of the graduate student behavior analysts currently attending the Masters program in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. The Florida Tech faculty will supervise all graduate student assessments.
The fees for the Functional Behavior Analysis services described above may be waived if the problem behavior(s) targeted for assessment are of sufficient frequency, intensity, or duration to warrant experimental investigation. In such cases, a family can agree to allow any information collected during the course of the assessment to be used for research purposes in exchange for the waiver of all fees. The only charge will be to cover the costs of materials to conduct the assessment (e.g., photocopies) and will rarely exceed $20. Please contact the Florida Tech faculty for more information.

Florida Tech Behavioral Services offers several different intervention services encompassing both skill acquisition and problem behavior reduction. A brief description of each service follows along with a listing of fees. The Florida Tech faculty will supervise all therapists.
Autism Early Intervention Consultation Services
Florida Tech currently offers consultation services for early intervention programs. The Florida Tech faculty are available to local families to assist in the development of an intervention program and the training and on-going supervision of 1:1 behavior therapists. Florida Tech does not provide the 1:1 behavior therapists, but a list of potential therapists can be obtained from the Florida Tech faculty. It is the family's responsibility to hire the behavior therapists and all financial arrangements are made between the family and individual therapist. The Florida Tech faculty's services are billed through the Floridaorida Institute of Technology.
The Florida Tech faculty will meet monthly (more often, if necessary) with each family to continually refine and expand the individualized treatment plan, demonstrate behavioral interventions, and provide parents and therapists training in effective techniques for managing everything from self-stimulatory behavior to socialization skills. Additionally, the Florida Tech faculty are available to attend IEP meetings and help IEP teams develop the most appropriate goals and services for your child.
NOTE: The consultation services described above can be modified to fit each family's needs. If you would like more information, please contact the Florida Tech faculty
